BenchGecko respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the platform:
- Authentication data via Google or GitHub OAuth (name, email, profile picture)
- Email address provided during sign-up or newsletter subscription
- Anonymized usage data (pages visited, API requests) to improve the service
We do not collect payment information directly. All billing is handled by third-party payment processors.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be used internally to improve BenchGecko.
Data Processor
BenchGecko uses Supabase as its database and authentication provider. Supabase processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Your data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
